I am entering my sixth year coaching with CJVA. I played for Fairleigh Dickinson University as a libero and just graduated with my master’s degree in Sports Management. I was the 2022 Team Captain and MVP.

How would you describe your coaching style?

My coaching style is all about qualities that will lead my players to be the best versions of themselves, on the court and in real life. Whether it is practicing accountability, discipline, leadership, or respect, players are taking lessons from their sport to their everyday lives.

What is your favorite characteristic in a player?

My Favorite characteristics in a player are determination, drive, and passion for the game.

Who are the people that have influenced you most as a coach?

The people that have influenced me the most as a coach are two of our master coaches, Andrea and Andrew. Almost everything I know as a coach have come from watching them coach and I learn something new from them everyday.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not in coaching mode?

I love to play beach volleyball!

What’s your favorite thing about volleyball?

My favorite thing about volleyball is the speed and the pace of the game. There is always something exciting happening and the game is never over until the last point.
