2026-27 Girls' Club Team Tryouts
ID Sessions at CJVA (Central Jersey Volleyball Academy) provide both new and returning athletes a valuable opportunity to assess where their current volleyball skills align within our club’s team structure. Our knowledgeable coaching staff—drawing from years of experience at high levels of play and instruction—will offer athletes thoughtful, skill-based feedback.
These sessions are independent of our official tryouts and are intended to help athletes gain insight into potential team placement. The cost of participation includes our tryout fee, and we strongly encourage all athletes interested in playing for CJVA next season to attend. Please note that evaluations are based on the level of training and competition we offer at CJVA, and team levels may differ from those of other clubs. In accordance with GEVA guidelines (the governing body for club volleyball in our region), no formal team offers can be made until the official tryout period begins.
CJVA’s official tryout date is August 9, 2025, the first day GEVA allows club offers to be extended. No team offers will be made before that date.
CJVA National Team Tryouts
Welcome to CJVA's 2026 Girls' National Team Tryout experience! This year, to ensure our players are as prepared as possible for tryouts and the club season, we have combined our National Team ID Sessions with our August Girls' Tryouts.
Our National Team ID Sessions will take place first, being held on August 7th and 8th. Our ID Sessions will be separated by age group, and will help prepare players for their upcoming tryouts. These ID Sessions are specifically tailored for each age group, honing in on specific skill sets and volleyball knowledge that are expected of National-level players for that age group. These intensive clinics are an opportunity for players to sharpen their skills and get attuned to the landscape of tryouts for the upcoming club season, as well as to allow our coaches to get an early look at this year's players. Players will be taught by our incredible National-level coaches and Master Coaches, and will have the opportunity to show off their skills among some of the strongest players in the state.
In accordance with GEVA's official sanctioned tryout dates, CJVA's August Tryouts will be held from August 9th-11th following the conclusion of our ID Sessions. Our August tryouts are primarily for advanced players aiming for a spot on our National-level Club Volleyball teams.

CJVA October Tryouts
CJVA's Second round of tryouts held in October are recommended for players interested in our Regional teams and Local (9-13U) teams as well as National teams. Tryouts are organized and run by our Master coaches in each location, and players will be assessed based not only on their current volleyball skills and athleticism, but on their attitude on the court, and their ability to learn and grow. Our Regional and Local teams are great for players looking to develop their skills, and compete with great teams from New Jersey and nearby regions!
