This year CJVA will be hosting August and October tryouts for our Club teams. August dates are required for athletes hoping to make a national-level team. Athletes should register and attend tryouts based on their grade for the upcoming school year (the 2022-23), but dependent on USAV Age Definitions could play up or down a grade level. You should attend tryouts at the location you team will practice (East Hanover or Flemington). While attendance at both tryout days is not mandatory, it is highly recommended! We evaluate different skills and situations at each tryout and the more your athlete is seen by the coaches, the easier it will be to place them on the appropriate team.
