Summer Programs

Our Summer Kickoff camps and All-Skills camps are a great opportunity to practice all the skills needed for a well-rounded volleyball player. We will cover the six fundamental skills of volleyball; passing, setting, attacking, blocking, defense, and serving. Beyond the basic skills, we will also be covering systems of play and strategic gameplay through games and competitions. Players will be split by age and skill level, so whether you’re a beginner or advanced player, you’ll have plenty to learn!

This camp is designed for advanced players of all ages and backgrounds who are preparing to try out for CJVA’s Girls’ National Teams this year. Previous club experience, either with CJVA or another club, or another form of competitive volleyball experience, is preferred for players age 13 and above, but is not a requirement for any age group. However, all players should have a strong grasp of the six fundamental skills of volleyball (Passing, setting, attacking, blocking, defense, and serving).

Our staff holds the rights to reassign players who do not meet the qualifications or standards for this camp, and offer either a different camp or clinic experience, or a credit for the cost of the camp. If you are unsure whether you qualify for this camp, please reach out to your coach, or one of our master coaches.

For East Hanover, the 12-14U program is for players born after 7/1/2012, while the 15-18U program is for players born between 7/1/2008 and 6/30/2012.
