I want to follow up on the news that NEQ will not be offering hotel bookings to “local” teams (within 50 miles), which includes our team in Flemington.
Many of you have already informed me that you will be commuting to and from Philly, while others have secured their own accommodations. For those still looking to book a room, I recommend making your own arrangements. Unfortunately, securing a block of rooms for the dates we need has proven impossible. The general consensus from others in our situation is that NEQ has simply outgrown the Philly area due to the high number of participants.
This is something we will need to take into consideration when planning for next season's multi-day tournament. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

I hope this message finds you well. We have received a bit of a surprise regarding the NEQ event this year. I recently completed an application for early booking for all our teams attending, but it was brought to my attention that NEQ will not be offering early hotel booking to “local” teams (within 50 miles), which includes us.
What does this mean for the Flemington team? Good news! NEQ is not a "stay to play" tournament for Flemington. This means you have the flexibility to choose whether to stay in a hotel or commute to Philadelphia. NEQ housing opens on December 3rd, and I will be looking for hotels close to the venues for those who prefer to stay overnight with their teams and coaches. However, please note that you are not required to book rooms through NEQ Housing.
To help me gauge how many rooms to reserve, please let me know if you will be commuting or staying overnight. When responding, kindly include your player's name and team. Your assistance with this is greatly appreciated!

SportsEngine AES Booking Fee
A Booking Fee is being applied when booking a hotel room. This fee will aide in the continued technological advancement and efficiency of the housing portion of SportsEngine AES and is intended to help reduce the number of overbooked rooms and cancellations for events. The Booking Fee will be applied at the time individual rooms are reserved, and the fee will not be applied if a room is reserved as a waitlist request.
ROOM TYPE
There is a combination of Queen/Queen and King rooms. If a parent & player are attending and you can make due with a King, please do so as a courtesy to players traveling with family. If you are a family and only a KING is available, be sure to note all people in room and mark the note section that you need a Queen/Queen. I would follow up with a call to EM2 Housing to request a Q/Q alternative.

- A summary of your reservation will appear.
